Terms of use
These terms govern your use of eprojects.net.au. They do not limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and they are not the terms of any contract for work, which are set out in the quote and contract documents we give you separately.
Accepting these terms
By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
We may change these terms at any time by updating this page. The version published here when you use the site is the version that applies, so check the last updated date if it matters to you.
Information on this site is general
The content of this website is general information about our services. It is not electrical, engineering, financial or legal advice, and it does not take account of your site, your electrical installation or your circumstances.
Do not rely on it as a substitute for a site-specific assessment. What is possible at a particular property depends on the switchboard, the available supply, the roof, the network operator’s requirements and the applicable standards, all of which need to be inspected and assessed.
We take care to keep the site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate or up to date. Product specifications, capabilities and availability change, and so do the rules that govern installations.
Rebates, incentives and pricing
Information about rebates, incentives, certificates and loans is a summary of schemes run by government bodies, not by us. Eligibility criteria, amounts and closing dates are set by those schemes and can change or end without notice.
Nothing on this site is a promise that you will qualify for a particular rebate or receive a particular amount. Eligibility is determined by the scheme administrator against your circumstances at the time of the claim.
Prices, capacities and indicative figures shown on the site are examples only. They are not offers, and they are not quotes. A quote is only given in writing, for a specified site and scope, and is valid for the period stated on it.
Enquiries and material you send us
When you submit an enquiry you agree that the information you give us is accurate and that you are entitled to provide it, including where it relates to a property you do not own or a person other than yourself.
Submitting an enquiry does not create a contract. It starts a conversation. Any work proceeds only under a written quote or contract that we both accept.
Personal information you send us is handled in accordance with our privacy policy.
How you may use the site
You may view, download and print pages from this site for your own use, or to evaluate our services. You must not:
Intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, the content of this site, including text, layout, graphics, diagrams and photographs, is owned by us or used with permission, and is protected by copyright.
The eProjects name and logo are our trade marks. Other names, logos and product marks that appear on the site belong to their respective owners and are used to identify equipment and services, not to suggest any endorsement.
Some images on this site are illustrations or artist impressions used to indicate a type of installation. They are labelled where that is the case and they are not photographs of a specific completed project unless described as such.
Links and third parties
This site links to manufacturers, regulators, network operators and scheme administrators. We provide those links for convenience. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content, and a link is not an endorsement.
Our enquiry forms are provided by a third party, Pipedrive. Fonts are served by Google Fonts. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies.
Availability of the site
We do not guarantee that the site will be available without interruption or free of errors, viruses or other harmful components. Access may be suspended for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
You are responsible for your own device and internet security.
Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, contained in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
For major failures with a service you are entitled to cancel your service contract and to a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value. You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure you are entitled to have the problem rectified in a reasonable time, and if this is not done, to cancel the contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion.
For goods, you are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
Liability
Except for rights and remedies that cannot be excluded, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this website or from reliance on information published on it, including indirect or consequential loss.
Where liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, our liability in connection with this website is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the relevant information or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.
This section is about the website. Liability for work we carry out is dealt with in the contract for that work, together with the statutory warranties and consumer guarantees that apply to it.
General
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
If part of these terms is unenforceable, it is severed and the rest continues to apply.
If we do not enforce a term, that is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
These terms are the whole agreement about your use of this website.
