Rebates and grants for business energy upgrades in NSW

There is more government money for business energy upgrades now than there has been in years, but it's spread across federal and NSW programs with different rules. This page lists what's available, who it's for and where to check the official detail. We install all of it, and we check eligibility as part of every quote.

Answers before you enquire

Anything else, send us an enquiry or call Tim on 0409 986 882.

Can we combine more than one rebate?

Often, yes. The NSW business battery discount can be combined with the federal solar rebate, and batteries under 100 kWh can also stack with Cheaper Home Batteries. We check what can be combined for your site when we quote.

Do you handle the rebate paperwork?

Yes. We check eligibility and handle the paperwork as part of every quote. For grants you apply for yourself, such as DRIVEN or the NSW fleet funding, we provide the scope, costs, invoices and install records the application needs.

Which rebate applies to EV chargers at a dealership?

The federal DRIVEN charger rebate: up to $3,000 per charging plug and up to $21,000 for chargers per site, for licensed dealers, their service centres and repair workshops. It closes 30 April 2027.

How often do these programs change?

Often. Amounts, rounds and closing dates change, and some programs close early when funding runs out. Always confirm on the official page, which is linked for every program here.
