01 · Site types

Every site charges differently.

Dwell time, vehicle mix and available supply decide whether you need AC, DC, or both.

NSW Government co-funding is now available for kerbside, car park and fleet charging. See NSW EV charging grants →

02 · Hardware

AC or DC? It depends on how long the car sits.

We're charger agnostic. We specify from all major AC and DC brands based on your site, not a supply agreement.

Charger typeTypical outputBest for
AC single phase 7 kW Staff bays, overnight fleet
AC three phase 11–22 kW Workplaces, dealership loan fleet
DC fast 50–120 kW Forecourts, retail, fast food
DC high power 150 kW+ Public charging, heavy vehicles

Indicative outputs for design purposes.

03 · Flash charging

Five-minute charging is already shipping overseas.

Megawatt-class terminals and batteries that take 10 to 80% in under four minutes are in production in China today. Those vehicles are coming here. We build sites now so the upgrade is a hardware swap, not a rebuild.

Flash charging→
TechnologyWhat it does
BYD Super e-Platform 1 MW peak at 1000 A, around 400 km in five minutes
BYD Blade Battery 2.0 10–70% in five minutes, and 30–50% faster on existing chargers
CATL Shenxing, 3rd gen 10–80% in three minutes forty-four seconds
ChaoJi / GB-T standard 1500 V, 800 A, beyond 1.2 MW, backward compatible

Manufacturer-stated figures from overseas launches. Australian availability and certification will vary.

04 · Delivery

How a rollout runs

Two weeks for a straightforward AC install; 3–4 months where DC fast charging or a supply upgrade is involved.

01
Site assessment

Supply capacity, switchboard, cable routes and metering reviewed on site.

02
Design & engineering

Fixed scope, hardware options, rebate feasibility and a dated programme.

03
Approvals

Network applications, connection agreements and compliance paperwork.

04
Install & commission

Staged around your operations, then tested and certified at handover.

05
Support

Monitoring uptime, servicing and fault response under an agreed response time.

05 · Why eProjects

A commercial electrical contractor doing EV work, not the reverse.

Most EV installers stop at the charger and call an electrician for the rest. Supply upgrades, switchboards and network coordination are our core trade, which is why complex commercial sites end up with us.

Will our supply handle the chargers we want?−

That's the first thing we check. If the incoming supply won't carry the load, we'll price the upgrade or design load management so you get the charging you need without one.

Can you bill users or recover costs?+
Can chargers run off our solar?+
Do we have to close the site during works?+
06 · Where we install

Across Central, Southern and South Western Sydney

Eight regions, each with its own local team and network relationships.

07 · Rebates & incentives

EV charging incentives can offset a commercial install.

We confirm what your site is eligible for and lodge the paperwork as part of the quote.
