Can EV chargers be installed during school terms?
We prefer to program civil and switchboard works into term breaks or holidays, with commissioning in quiet periods. Where that isn’t possible, works are zoned and fenced to keep them clear of students.
Are there grants for EV charging at schools and universities?
Various NSW and federal programmes support EV infrastructure for institutions and fleets. We identify what your project is eligible for and prepare the supporting technical documentation.
Can we restrict chargers to staff only?
Yes. Access control by RFID or app limits use to staff, fleet or visitors, with separate reporting for each.
How do you handle safety around students?
Bays are sited away from pedestrian desire lines where possible, with bollards, signage and cable management specified so leads can’t become trip hazards.
