01 · What decides the job

Four things set the price and the time

We check all four at the site visit, then quote the whole job up front, not as a variation later.

Your carCars charge differently. Some take single phase, some three phase. We pick a charger that suits your car and your supply, not one we happen to stock.
Your solarIf you have solar, we aim to match the charger to your inverter brand so the data links together, and set it to charge from your own generation first.
Your switchboardOlder boards without an RCD, or with no spare capacity, need work before a charger goes in. We check it on site and quote it up front.
The cable runHow far the charger is from the switchboard, and how hard it is to run the cable, decides most of the install time. Most homes are done in less than a day.

How long does it take to install a home EV charger?

Usually less than a day. It mostly depends on how far the charger is from the switchboard and how complicated the cable run is.

Which EV charger should I get?

It depends on your car. Some cars take single phase and some three phase, so we match the charger to the car and your supply. If you have solar, we aim to match your inverter brand so the data links together. We're not tied to any brand.

Can you install a charger that came with my car?

Yes. A charger bought with the car is made for it, so we install that one. We check your switchboard and the cable run at the site visit, and quote any board work up front.

Can you install an EV charger without solar?

Yes. Charger installations are a standalone job, and we do a lot of them. If you have solar already, we set the charger to prioritise your own generation.

Will my switchboard need upgrading?

Sometimes. Older boards without an RCD, or with no spare capacity, need work before a charger goes in. We check at the site visit and quote it up front rather than as a variation.

Who do I call if something goes wrong?

Us. We install, we monitor, and we service what we install. You are not handed to a call centre in another state.
