Why Sydney Metro is different
Most metro work is base-building and tenancy: switchboard capacity, data and comms, lighting upgrades, and EV charging retrofitted into basement car parks where the supply was never sized for it. Commercial solar is limited by roof area but common on the low-rise stock through Alexandria, Mascot and Rosebery.
Metro jobs are planned around building access rather than around the work itself. Night and weekend windows, loading dock bookings, hot work permits and coordination with base-building contractors all sit ahead of the installation, and we price and program for that from the start.

Do you charge a call-out fee to Sydney Metro?
No. Quotes and site visits are free. For metro sites we usually need building access arranged in advance, so tell us who to contact when you enquire.
How quickly can you get to a job in Sydney Metro?
Maintenance and fault work is usually within a day or two. Installation timing depends on the access windows a building will give us, which is often the longest part of the program.
Do you handle the Ausgrid application?
Yes. Connection, embedded generation and supply upgrade applications to Ausgrid are prepared and lodged by us as part of the job.
Are you licensed and insured for work in Sydney Metro?
Yes. We hold a NSW electrical contractor licence, Clean Energy Council accreditation for solar and battery installation, and full contract works and public liability cover.
