01 · The commercial case

Why this pays for itself

01

Meet manufacturer's EV charging requirements

Many manufacturers require dealership and workshop EV charging infrastructure as part of their franchise standards. We design EV infrastructure to comply.

02

Faster  vehicle delivery and workshop turnaround

Dedicated workshop and handover charging keeps pre-delivery, diagnostics, servicing and road testing moving without delay.

03

Improve the EV customer experience

Forecourt charging gives customers a convenient place to charge while providing your sales team with a practical way to demonstrate EV charging and vehicle range

02 · Recommended setup

How we specify EV infrastructure for your site

We specify EV chargers from leading AC and DC charging brands based on your dealership’s vehicles, charging requirements, electrical capacity and operating needs, rather than being tied to a single charger manufacturer

SpecificationWhereWhy
DC fast 50–120 kW Customer forecourt & handover bays Fast charging for customers whilst demonstrating during the sale conversation
AC up to 22 kW Loan fleet, demonstrator & staff parking Cost-effective charging for vehicles parked for longer periods or overnight.
Bay-side AC or DC Workshop & service centre Convenient charging for diagnostics, servicing and road-test preparation.

Answers before you enquire

Anything else, send us an enquiry or call Tim on 0409 986 882.

How much does it cost to install EV chargers at a dealership?

Cost is driven by the supply, not the charger. A bank of AC chargers on an adequate supply is modest; a DC forecourt charger that needs a supply upgrade is a larger project. We assess the switchboard and incoming supply first and price the whole scope, including civil works and any upgrade.

Do you install to manufacturer EV certification standards?

Yes. We install across all brands in a major national dealership group and deliver to each manufacturer’s programme requirements, including hardware specification, bay signage and commissioning documentation.

Will the dealership have to close during installation?

No. We stage works around trading and service hours, keeping the forecourt and workshop open. Switching windows for any supply work are agreed in advance.

Can you roll out across multiple dealership sites?

Yes. Multi-brand, multi-site rollouts are the work we already do. One contractor, one programme, consistent hardware and documentation across every site.

Is there a rebate for EV chargers at a dealership?

Yes. The federal DRIVEN charger rebate pays up to $3,000 per charging plug, up to $21,000 for chargers per site, for licensed dealers, their service centres and repair workshops. It closes 30 April 2027. See DRIVEN charger rebate.
